BJ-Gear is environmental certified

BJ-Gear focuses on protecting the environment and creating the best possible working conditions for the company's employees, and it has therefore been a natural step to become environmental certified according to ISO 14001:2015.

The introduction of our environmental management system has given us better opportunity to manage our environmental efforts:

  • The company strives to reduce its overall energy consumption by proactively finding environmentally friendly alternatives and by raising employees' awareness of energy saving.
  • The company constantly seeks new areas where we can optimize our waste sorting.
  • The company strives to pursue a sound and appropriate chemical policy, reducing the number of types of chemicals and striving to find the least hazardous chemicals for employees and the environment.

BJ-Gear prioritises sustainability, which is reflected in our domicile and factory buildings, where energy consumption is kept low by effective insulation, intelligent Central Temperature Control (CTS) and heat recovery from comfort and process extraction.

Environmental policy

We care about the environment and work hard to reduce our environmental impact. Our production is clean and our raw materials are safe. We have an extensive and constant expanding waste sorting program, in order to secure the reuse of the worlds limited resources. We sort more than 25 different types of waste including paper, oil waste, electronic waste, chemical waste, solid scrap metal and metal shavings. We take special care in handling and disposing dispose hazardous waste in a responsible way.
