Hydro-Mec helical bevel gearboxes are modular and compact as well as very energy efficient. The helical bevel gearbox from Hydro-Mec has a single-piece housing, that combines light weight with high tensile strength. The housing is precision machined for alignment of bearings and gearing, and is vacuum impregnated for protection and sealing, and therefore no extra sealing is required.
The helical bevel gearboxes are available as foot, flange or shaft gearboxes. They are available with solid output shaft or hollow output shaft for shrink fitting. On top of the housing is a removable inspection cover, that allows for inspection of the gearing. The gears are hardened and grounded and the flange is fully modular to IEC and compact integrated motors.
Ratios in the X-series from 5:1 to 589:1 and a max output torque on 410 Nm.
Ratios in the C-series from 7:1 to 821:1 and a max output torque on 1000 Nm.
